Ride-Out to the show on Sunday 18th February
Depart at 9.30am
Firing up 2018, the 80th anniversary of the cafe having originally opened in 1938, Ace Cafe London joins the world of biking under one roof, with a stand and display at the annual Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show at Excel, Docklands, London, 16th – 18th February.
This multi stage, multi event and star-studded show includes all the major new 2018 bikes, as well as celebrity riders. There will be an all new Live-Action Thunderdrome and Stunt Show, a Grand Prix Icons Paddock and, hosted by the intrepid explorer Nathan Millward, an Adventure Bike area. Built Magazine showcases the best of custom, cafe racer, tracker, scrambler and bobber bikes and, if you fancy a pint with McPint, another brand new feature for 2018 is the John McGuinness Bar, where you can hang out with the 23-time TT winner, listen to his fascinating TT tales, see his stunning race-winning machines and watch videos of the great man in action.
The Ace presence and display at the show (Stand No.CU60) includes with the Excel showcase of the 150mph Energica Ego “Italian Flag” electric sports bike (Energica to supply motorcycles for FIM Moto-e World Cup in 2019!) and the Limited Edition, factory special, Triumph Thruxton 1200R “Ace”, along with an array of Ace Cafe, Rockers, 59 Club and StoMoCo items, together with the critically acclaimed, seminal, 312 page hard back book “Ace Times – Speed thrills and tea spills, a cafe and a culture” by author Mick Duckworth.
