The Kop Hill Climb, near Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, started in 1910, and was one of the most popular speed hill climbs in the country for motorcycles and motorcars until 1925 when, as a result of an accident on the hill, all racing on public roads in Britain was banned.
 

Ace Cafe London’s involvement with the Kop Hill Climb, one of the “must attend” events on the motorsport calendar, not only includes with a stand and display, but also with a drive-out for cars, and ride-out for bikes, from the cafe to this unique, historic and exciting two-day annual  event.
 

Over 700 hill climb and display vehicles will be participating in the event include veteran, vintage and classic cars and bikes and this year includes the iconic Genevieve, from the film of the same name, and Edd China, formerly of Wheeler Dealers and his famous Casual Lofa Sofa, the world’s fastest piece of road legal furniture.
 

In addition to the specially invited iconic modern motors, all of whom will be following in the historic slipstream of such legends as Malcolm Campbell in his “Bluebird” and Freddie Dixon on his Douglas, will be the “Wall of Death”, club stands and displays, and for gravity powered action, there is the ever eco-friendly, and nail biting, Soap Box Challenge!
