With all “seats” now booked, the GlobeBusters third overland motorcycle ride from the world-famous Ace Cafe London to Ace Cafe Beijing, is set to depart the Ace in London on Saturday 20 April 2019!

Beijing is home to one of a growing number of officially-licensed Ace premises, with cafes already open in countries as diverse as Finland, Switzerland, Spain and the USA.

Riders will cover 13,000 miles on the 12-week trip, travelling through Europe and on into Central Asia via Turkey, experiencing motorcycling in many countries where tourism is still in its infancy, including Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Once in China, the group will approach Tibet from the Chinese border, from where it is possible to ride up to the North Base Camp on Everest, (South Camp, in Nepal, is only accessible on foot).

GlobeBusters  offer riders the chance to ride their own bikes overland into China via Tibet and the expedition will be led by Kevin Sanders, making his ninth trip into this “crazy & fascinating” country. Kevin has chosen the new Triumph Tiger 1200 XCA for this epic journey

Kevin and Julia Sanders hold two Guinness World Records. In 2002 they circumnavigated the world by motorcycle in 19½ days. The following year the couple rode the length of the Americas, from Alaska to Argentina, in 35 days, knocking 12 days off the previous record.

Billed as the ‘ultimate burn-up’, and  reaching Beijing on Saturday 13th July 2019, join us at the cafe, together with the Mayor of Brent, to wave off the Ace to Ace expedition riders, and wish them luck, as they leave Ace Cafe London 9am on the morning Saturday 20th April 2019!
