Hot Rod Night this August includes live authentic vintage sounds from the Streamline 55s, a five piece band that takes a dollop of Country, a sprinkle of Rhythm and Blues, a slice of Surf music and a great big helping of old fashioned Rock and Roll, mixing the lot and then heating it up! Covering mainly rarer tracks from the fifties, with a handful of better known tunes thrown in for good measure, they are also developing their own song writing skills and are introducing a few originals, plus DJ Little Carl spinning the wax, and “Vintage Pinstriping” guest, Jane.
The cafe’s regular first Wednesday of each month Hot Rod Night always has prizes up for grabs!
On the evening prizes include tickets to both the Brighton National Speed Trials, on Saturday 7th September, and to Santa Pod’s forthcoming NSRA organised Hot Rod Drags on 13th & 15th September, as well as copies of Vintage Rock and UK Rock n’ Roll magazines
Spend £5 or more over the counter from 6pm and receive a raffle ticket.
Draw will be held at 10pm.
