Ace Cafe London is hosting a special “Stamp it out” evening encompassing the Mods n’ Rockers heritage with the IoM Post Office at the cafe on Friday 15th June.
Two special sets of stamps issued by the Isle of Man Post Office are showcased at the Ace on the evening.
- Great British Motorcycles – A Celebration of Innovation focussing on a selection of the most significant and ground-breaking motorcycle engines in the golden age of the last century. The stamps combine the paintings of Graham Crowley with archive imagery from Morton’s to honour the many engineers, teams and riders who pushed the envelope, often using the famous TT course as their test bed and
- Isle of Man International Motor Scooter Rally – a fun and vibrant collection of Isle of Man Post Office stamps which features standout moments from the 60 year history of the gathering. The sheer diversity of races and events is a credit to the many enthusiasts and organisers who have enjoyed scootering on Manx roads, and the stamps celebrate this joy that continues today with the next rally to be held over the weekend of 22nd to 24th June.
A unique all new British designed special one-off Ace 80th liveried scooter, courtesy of Scomadi, will also be on display along with the “Last of its Class” Ace 904S Thruxton Special!
