Ace Cafe London is privileged to host, from Japan, “Johnny” Daigo Yamashita and his four-piece band “PANDORA”, for an evening of live rock n’ roll at the Ace on Saturday 25th May, as part of the cafe’s regular monthly Rhythm n’ Cruise with rockin’ DJ Jimmy Guntrip from 7pm.
The free to attend gig, starting at 9pm through to 11pm close, features “Johnny” on vocals and bass, “Hey” and “Sen” on guitar and “Take” beating the skins, and is the highlight of the bands short and very special 2019 UK tour.
Mixing the roots of rockabilly, blues and punk with an infusion of traditional Japanese music styles, the unique sound is that of the last Samurai meets Sam Phillips!
