Sunday 18th August
9am – 5pm
Ace Cafe London’s annual “Ladies Day”, this year includes WIMA GB, a motorcycle club for all women interested in motorcycling of any age or ability, who this year are working with the volunteers at the charity Pikilily, an organisation passionately dedicated to ensuring safe riding for all motorcycle users across Africa, in particular in Tanzania.
They do this by training brave and pioneering local women to ride well-maintained motorcycles safely, then empowering them to serve their communities by operating as motorcycle taxi riders and running free motorcycle road safety training sessions for all.
Check out the short YT film re “Key safety factors to consider when choosing to use motorcycle taxis” here.
Bring what ya run, see you at the Ace!
