Ace Cafe London hosts the 20th Anniversary Reunion of the former race team PK Sport, celebrating their winning of the inaugural European Le Mans Series GT Championship and the team’s first participation in the Le Mans 24 hours, both in 2001. PK Sport were originally based a short distance from the Ace just a little further around the North Circular so this is the perfect venue for the get together.
From 6pm on Tuesday 6th July, two of the original team’s Le Mans drivers, Mike Youles and David Warnock, will be in attendance, together with many past team members and supporters plus the actual Porsche 996 GT3 RS race car, still wearing its distinct original livery.
20 years on, Mike Youles has secured an entry to race in the two Endurance Legends races as part of the support programme to this year’s Le Mans 24 hours in August.
