Hiway 51 playing live at Ace Cafe London and launching their brand new eleven track CD, “Get’ta Ramblin”.
The album, mixed and mastered by Graham Dominy for Foot Tapping Records, charts the band as it has evolved, most starting out as demos that have captured the sound, this being added to as members have joined, and with four new exciting original tunes including the albums opening title track “Hiway 51”
Leaving you in no doubt what the band is all about, stripped down country roots, and what’s to come! Hiway 51 captures the wild side of the 50’s beat with raw, raunchy rockabilly that’ll get your feet and hips moving. With such a wild, rebellious and exciting sound, mix in some carefully chosen covers, and it’s the era of music that runs the open dusty road!
