Sunday 5th November
9am – 5pm
The link was established in the 1950’s between a jukebox playing rock n’ roll and personal transport. For young Brit kids this was a motorbike, and the Ace Cafe was home to these new machines and their soundtracks – the cafe racer had arrived!
From “Just for Kicks” to “Breakfast at the Ace”, it will be “Rockin’ at the Ace Cafe” celebrating the 60th anniversary of the 1963 filming of “The Leather Boys”, come along and listen, revel and be immersed in a mix of the best rock and roll, blended with the best of the British sounds from noon, by London’s very own motorcycling maestro DJ, Leather Girl Hiroko.
To obtain a copy of the now fully restored 137 minute “The Leather Boys” film, with exclusive bonus film featuring Rita Tushingham and The Leather Boys Back at the Ace, go to the Ace Shop.
Teaming up with Mortons, and along with a subscription to Classic Bike,
3 x tickets to attend the forthcoming annual London Classic Bike Show and Autojumble are up for grabs as prizes for “Best Bikes” at the Ace on afternoon of the “Ton Up Day” on Sunday 5.11.23
