Teaming up with Anthem Publishing, Ace Cafe London has up for grabs as prizes at the cafe three copies of the recently published special edition magazine Vintage Rock Presents Elvis, celebrating this year the 50th anniversary of the October 1969 release on RCA records of “From Memphis to Vegas / From Vegas to Memphis”, the first live album, a double, by Elvis “In Person” and “Taking Care of Business”.
This special Vintage Rock magazine issue explores the world of Elvis live on stage and traces the King’s seismic live career, from the 1950’s to the ’68 Comeback Special and on into the 70’s. Featuring Elvis’s tours and TV appearances, a look at his infamously flamboyant touring wardrobe, a pick of the Top 20 essential live recordings, and insights from those who knew Elvis best.
Together with pairs of tickets to attend the cafe’s annual Elvis Jailhouse Rock Night with Paul Ansell & No 9 the band on Saturday 4th January, copies of this special edition magazine Vintage Rock Presents Elvis are to be won at the Ace on All American Cruise-In nights held last Saturday of October, November and December.
