With DJ Rockin’ Wolf on the decks from 7pm, Ace Cafe London’s regular monthly All-American Cruise-In from 4pm on Saturday 30th March celebrates the 60th anniversary of the 1964 launch of the iconic Mopar muscle motor, the 426 Hemi.
Created by an internal activities council eighty-seven years ago, Mopar was first used by Chrysler in 1937 and the term has passed into broader usage among car enthusiasts as an unambiguous inclusive reference to vehicles produced by Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, Imperial, and DeSoto.
