Celebrating both the “Grace, Space, Race” and the “Art of Performance” that is Jaguar, Ace Cafe London’s annual Jaguar Day from 11am on Bank Monday 6th May this year marks the 70th anniversary of the Jaguar D-Type sports racing car, produced between 1954 and 1957 and designed specifically to win the Le-Man’s 24-hour race.
Established in 1922 by (two motorcycle enthusiasts) Bill Lyons and Bill Walmsley, purring or growling, today the marque remains as nobody’s pussycat.
Formed in 1984 the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club this year celebrates its 40th “Ruby” anniversary
