Gathered together on this stunning, deluxe piece of vinyl, are 16 slices of raucous Rhythm & Blues that showcase the foundations of what went on to become the "Motown Sound". Compiled by Mark Lamarr, this collection covers the period between 1959 and 1962 and features 45’s originally released on Motown and sister labels Tamla, Miracle and MEL-O-DY.
